Everything We Know About FACE
ARMYs were excited when Jimin hinted at a solo album during a Weverse live broadcast on February 10. Almost two weeks later, on February 21, BIGHIT MUSIC confirmed the news and released a teaser for the album.

The tracklist was released on February 23, along with a behind-the-scenes recording video. Jimin has co-writing credits on five tracks, and BTS member RM on three. The title track, “Like Crazy,” will have two versions: the original Korean and English.
The tracklist also featured words speaking of reflection and facing one's wounds and deepest self. As we've seen before, BTS is not afraid of exploring their vulnerabilities through music.

Jimin’s Solo Career So Far
While FACE is Jimin’s first solo album, he’s been a soloist for several years. His first solo song was “Lie” off BTS’ 2016 album Wings, showcasing dark lyrics that spoke of a toxic relationship.
Note: The music video contains an excerpt of the full track.
In 2017, Jimin released “Serendipity” as part of BTS’ Love Yourself: Her album. The overall tone was more hopeful and bright, with colorful visuals and ethereal vocals. The music video was the first solo from any of the members to reach 100 million views on YouTube.
However, “Promise” was Jimin’s first credited song as a soloist. It was released on December 30, 2018, on BTS’ Soundcloud, it had the biggest debut in the platform’s history, later becoming its most streamed song in December 2021.
Jimin’s next solo song on a BTS album was “Filter” on Map of the Soul: 7 (2020). “Filter” had a Latin sound to it, with lyrics highlighting the different sides of the singer. It was his first entry on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and broke several records on Spotify. It was also the only BTS solo to be nominated for Song of the Year at the 10th Gaon Chart Music Awards.
On Christmas Eve, 2020, Jimin released “Christmas Love." And on April 24, 2022, he released “With You,” a duet with Ha Sung-woon. The song was an OST for the k-drama Our Blues.
Earlier this year, Jimin collaborated with Taeyang on the song “Vibe” released on January 13, 2023.
