JEJU ISLAND's TOURISTIC SPOTS
No wonder that Jeju is one of the most beautiful islands, it’s like Eden on Earth, its unique cultural heritage and distinctive sceneries have made it the focus of attention and visitation for tourists from all over the world.
Jeju Island is the largest islands in South Korea that has its own distinctive culture. It's like a huge village that’s quite different from the mainland. Jeju has its own village-like vibes, where the everything is handmade, naturally made and environmentally friendly.
Dear reader, please fasten your seatbelt, and get ready to fly to Jeju Island, and visit the best spots there with me!
Our First Stop: Mount Hallasan

Mount Hallasan, the highest mountain in South Korea, and it’s a UNESCO Biosphere reserve dormant volcano, it has a beautiful crater at the top and has the most wonderful diversity of flowers, butterflies, plants, animals and more!

Even though it’s almost 2000 meters above sea level, it's easy to hike. For the nature-lovers, Mount Hallasan will be a once in a lifetime experience. View on Tripadvisor the nearest hotels to Hallasan on Jeju Island.
The Second Stop: Jeju Stone Park

Prepare yourself to see some awesome sculptures and rocks in this park and get to know more about the Korean myths and folklore tales about the sculptures in the park.

There’s a stone museum at the park and an interesting famous statues can be found, that has the shape of old men, it’s called Dol Hareubang which literally means “Grandfather made of stone”, it’s believed that these statues are attributed to the island’s shamanic traditions and they’re considered to be gods that repel evil forces and misfortunes, and they can be found in different places around Jeju-do not just at the stone park.
You can have your own of these as a miniature from the souvenirs’ shop.
The Third Stop: Daepo Jusangjeolli Cliff

The natural sculpture of Jeju Island, it’s totally a masterpiece of natural artwork. Jusangjeollidae is a volcanic rock formation at the southern coast of Jeju Island, it was formed when molten lava from Hallasan volcano met the cold seawater of Jungmun. There is an amazing artistic photo there!

The Fourth Stop: Jeongbang and Cheonjiyeon Waterfall

Dear traveler, here you’ll take lots of photos, so charge you cameras, phones and make sure you have comfy shoes and clothes on! In Jeju, there’re many waterfalls like Jeongbang, Cheongjeyeon, Cheonjiyeon, Eongtto and more. The most visited waterfall in Jeju-do by tourists is Jeongbang; because it looks beautiful it has a tree-topped cliff and it is the only waterfall in Asia, that cascades down into the ocean.

Next is Cheonjiyeon waterfall which means “God’s Pond”, where in Jeju there's a myth that says there are seven fairies serving the King of Heaven who came down to the pond on the stairs of a cloud and bathed in its clean waters.

The Fifth Stop: Manjanggul Cave

This stop is very valuable to researchers and scientists, and here the breathtaking scenery of this cave will amaze you, or as it is called "Lava Tube". The Manjanggul Lava tube was formed many years ago. It is 23 meters wide, 30 meters high and almost 9 kilometers long.

Moreover, It is considered the 12th-longest lava tube in the world and the second longest on Jeju Island besides being a UNESCO World Natural Heritage.
The Sixth Stop: Hyeopjae Beach

Now traveler, get ready for some fun, where you can enjoy some sun bath, and please your eyes with the bright white sand and beautiful emerald-colored water of that beach. This beautiful beach is well-known for being the largest bathing beach in Jeju.

It is the most picturesque beach in Jeju. Hyeopjae Beach is a great spot for water activities, chilling, meditation, camping and more as there's all sorts of amenities along the beach.
The Seventh Stop: Love Island

Now for the last stop in this trip, I’d say if you’re broken hearted this place will heal you with the positive vibes in it spreading love all around. Love island is a spot that’s suitable for lovers and couples. It was the first such museum in Korea that was founded in 2004.

Jeju Loveland is a sculpture theme park based on sensuality and eroticism. It breaks the traditional taboos on sex and is a place where visitors can appreciate the natural beauty of sexuality and sensuality.
