DATING DIARIES KOREA
Weekends are the best part of the week for my friends and me. Without noticing, we created a routine: Waking up, working out, lunch, museums/cafés, home to get ready, dinner, and party!

We usually do this on Saturday and Sunday (without the going out part, we are responsible workers). This time tho, it happened on a Wednesday!
The day passed by; as usual, work ended, and I headed back home, where my friend was waiting to go for a run. While running, we joke about not wanting to return home, etc. So, I came up with the idea let’s shower and get ready; we are going out for dinner!
Until here, everything is fine. Well… we went for dinner, but suddenly the table next to us invited us to join them, not for food, but for drinks! We couldn’t say no, so we joined.

After some hours, we decided to leave but, to go home, we had to walk through all the clubs and bars in the zone, and it’s complicated to pass by without entering to some! The promoters are usually good-looking boys who will invite you to a free drink. We went to one bar but… for our surprise, one of the bartenders was extremely handsome, so my friend got an instant crush!

During all this time, I was texting with a boy I met through Instagram; we both like photography and started talking a while ago about that.
My friend had her hormones going crazy, and she was really hyped on happiness, so she went to talk with the bartender leaving me alone for a while. I told the IG boy my situation, and he decided to come over.

It was at that point that everything changed! He came, had a drink with us, and then all three left (him, my friend, and I). My friend was… to happy, I’ll say! We went for a walk, and we sat down in a park to talk for a bit, we were having a lot of fun, but suddenly, the boy said that he was a pure Christian, that he believed in God and never in his life had gone to a club or bar, and the drink he had, it was his first drink ever. My friend and I were shoooocked! He was 26 (international age)!

We asked why he came or why he was doing that if it was against his religion. But he said he was tired and wanted to start living a “normal boy” life. Later, we walked my friend to her place, and he and I went to the station so he could catch the subway. Suddenly, my friend called me, crying, and laughing simultaneously. She fell to the ground and hit her nose, bleeding a lot!

Well, you can imagine where all of 3 ended up that night. Yes, we went to the hospital. Luckily, she didn’t break her nose, but the doctors recommend that next time, “drink a bit less”.
I can tell the boy wanted to have fun and forget about the bible for a bit, but he would never think of ending up in a hospital on a Wednesday night with two foreign friends, bleeding, and a bit drunk.

Funny because we are still meeting him, and we always laugh a lot about the day we all meet!
