SHINee 2021 Comeback

SHINee 2021 Comeback

SM Entertainment’s “Prince’s of K-pop” SHINee have recently announced their 2021 comeback after a two-year break. With all but one of the members enlisting in their mandatory military service between the end of 2018 and early 2019, and completing their services in 2020, they have now returned with their seventh studio album  Don’t Call Me.

The title track, which shares the same name of the comeback album, is a funky dance track which features elements of hip-hop and will definitely get your head bopping. Just like their hit songs Ring Ding Dong, Lucifer and View

, their new title track will definitely become a funky favourite on every K-pop lovers playlist. (And a fun fact for those of you who don’t know–in 2017 Ring Ding Dong took the top spot for the “Worst Song for Exam Season” in South Korea because of its addictive and repetitive chorus. According to group members Onew and Minho, it was even banned in schools for some time!)

In promotions for their new album, SHINee held a special live broadcast on the 31st of January, titled The Ringtone: SHINee is Back (which has now been uploaded to YouTube). The group also held an event, “SHINee is Calling”, in which people could call a dedicated number and leave a message for the group (this event is now closed).
