NEW BTS SCULPTURE INSTALLED AT MAENGBANG BEACH, SAMCHEOK!

Not long after the iconic jacket photoshoot location for their latest album “Butter” by BTS,  revolved into a tourist attraction, a sculpture was recently installed at the Maengbang Beach next to the set.

 

 

Maengbang Beach is located in Samcheok-Si, a city on the east coast of South Korea. Its picturesque view has attracted tourists and has now become the most popular seaside destination after the installation of the photo zone.

The Samcheok City Government was overwhelmed in receiving many inquiries by fans asking to restore the settings. In the efforts to commemorate BTS's success, the city government fulfilled the request in re-creating the shooting set.

 

 

However, due to the rise in visitors to the set, the City Government has limited the number of visitors and ensure social distancing is being practiced at all times. It was said that there may be a possibility for the site to be operated as a part of Korea’s Stamp Tour.

 

 

 

You can enjoy the warm breeze on a sunbed under the parasols on this breathtaking set. With the serene background of the sea and vibrant colored props, it will make your visit unforgettable!
