List of Most Popular Korean Snacks Worldwide!
The most exciting part is here! Here are the lists of Korean snacks that captured many's hearts and made it to the Most Popular Lists! We have the exclusive curation of snacks here at Seoulbox and provide a sneak peek of what we include in our Seoulboxes!
- Calbee Honey Butter Chips

Honey and butter are literally the best combinations! Once Korea had a honey butter phase where this packet of chips flew off the shelves, and you could not find them anywhere as they sold out within days. The crunchiness of the chips, topped with a hinge of butter and sweetness from the honey, makes this snack unforgettable.
- Lotte Pepero

Whether you're single or not, Pepero is one of the most popular go-to Korean snacks. With the various flavors to try from and not to mention special additional ones that are released only during special holidays! We all dreamt of receiving a box of Pepero from our favorite Korean idol(s). Unfortunately, the only surprise we could offer is adding these snacks to our monthly Seoulboxes!
- Nongshim Shrimp Crackers

This tastes way better than it looks. Once you've got the taste of the Shrimp crackers, you will want more! They are shaped like French fries and even have a spicy option you can choose from if you prefer the thrill.
- Tteokbokki Snacks

Tteokbokki flavored snacks are highly loved by Koreans. As you know, a bowl of Tteokbokki consists of a fantastic burst of spices and flavors. At Seoulbox, we love Tteokbokki flavored snacks too! We made sure all our Seoulmates could taste the unique flavors, so we included Mugerbon's Tteokbokki Almonds, Cosmos's Tteokbokki Chips, and a few others in our previous Seoulboxes.
- Ramyeon

Koreans and instant noodles are best friends! This could be a snack or even a meal, depending on how you pair it with! We love a cup of Ramyeon for a late-night snack if you're too lazy to cook the packet options. As the year's pass, newer flavors and variations exist. We at Seoulbox have added this snack into almost all our boxes.
- Injeolmi Rice Balls (인절미 라이스볼)

If you don't know yet, Injeolmi flavored food is trendy in Korea. You can find various snacks with that specific flavor. Injeolmi tastes like rice cakes, which are slightly sweet and nutty. There are various snacks to try, but I recommend this specific one!
- Orion Kkokbuk Turtle Chips

This snack will be the perfect option if you love the crunch when eating chips! The snack melts in your mouth as soon as you take a bite, as it is made with four layers of corn crafted into a unique shape. There are various flavors to pick from. We also featured one of their Choco Churro flavored corn chips in one of our boxes.
- Couque d'Asse

Little did you know, this Belgium snack turned out to be extremely popular in South Korea. The biscuit instantly melts in your mouth and goes well with a cup of tea! The snack sold out as soon as Jungkook from BTS unintentionally promoted this snack in one of their Run BTS episodes.
- Nongshim Banana Kick

A healthier taste in snacks says YES to a packet of Banana flavored corn chips. The crunchiness from the chips will create an irresistible mix of flavors once you take a bite. Interestingly enough, we included the popcorn version of the snack in our Seoulbox last year! You might love the snack as much as Jimin loves his packet of Banana Kick!
- Haitai Homerun Balls

Alexa play Homerun by Seventeen! The energy from the song is like biting into one of the homerun balls filled with a generous amount of chocolate filling. This snack played a part in most Korean's childhood. It is so loved by kids and adults that Baekhyun from EXO did a small advertisement for the snack!

Author: SUJI SOHN
About the author: Suji was studying in London in the year 2019 and, although being separated from her family, her passion for Korea was growing. She noticed that a lot of her close friends loved Korean culture, food, music, and dramas and gradually started to fall in love with Korea, but there weren't many opportunities to actually "experience" this wonderful nation!
Suji was aware of what she needed to do to introduce Korea to her friends' lives and, conceivably, to those of everyone else who was curious about a piece of Daehan Min-guk.
