HUSBAND MATERIAL K-POP IDOL:

We all have that one person in mind when we hear the word “Husband Material”. 

We have many K-pop idols that love to cook, here we have a list of idols who tend to cook meals for their members and are known as the 요리사 aka cook of the group!

  • Mingyu from Seventeen

Mingyu is known to be the main chef of the group. He often cooks for the members and takes the responsibility of cooking as he knows his flavors. In one of the Gose episodes, they were having a battle of making Burgers, and Mingyu made a burger using Squid.

He won first place as he used interesting ingredients.

He is known to be the main cook in BTS and his most famous dish is Aglio Olio which is the members’ favorite dish. In the second season of In The Soop, he can be seen boiling pasta and cooking for the members.

  • Taeyong from NCT 127

He is known for his professional cooking skills! In the groups' reality shows, Taeyong will prepare the finest meals for the members. Taeyong can cook Kalgusuk from scratch as he usually cooks together with his family.

  • Leeteuk from Super Junior

He has been featured in a cooking variety show where he was an MC for 3 years. With all the experience and learning tips from professional chefs, Leeteuk has published his very own cookbook! 

  • DO from Exo

He has a strong passion for cooking and it was revealed he was assigned to cooking duty during his military service. 

DO would invite the members over and he would cook for all of them. 

  • Kihyun from Monsta X

He admits that the rest of the members can’t cook so he takes the credit for all the cooking! He has been watching cooking shows ever since he was younger and has gotten better with practice.

In a special vlog, he showcased his Jjampong cooking skills. 

  • Jin from BTS

Being the hyung of the group, and as playful he can be, Jin knows how to feed the younger members. He is an avid foodie and is always seen eating deliciously! He made sashimi during the shooting of In The Soop for the members to eat.

  • Jun from Seventeen

Besides Mingyu who is the head chef, Jun has been making interesting meals for the members. He has been cooking Chinese cuisines for the members and mentioned that he purchased a shabu shabu pot and he has been cooking often in their dorm.

He also made Jokbal in an episode of In the Soop. 

  • Doyoung from NCT 127

It is said by fans that he and Taeyong are the best cooks of the group. He also mentioned that if he was not a K-pop idol he would become a baker. He was on a cooking show and made spicy sausage stew with Gong Myoung.

As we know most idols can cook, we now shortlisted 3 K-pop idols that have the personalities of a perfect husband! 

  • Mingyu from Seventeen 

Fans always get excited when Mingyu cooks as he is the perfect figure for a husband. He is also known to be the cleaning fairy of Seventeen and often cleans up after the members.

In an episode that premiered on M2, Mingyu can be seen cleaning the dorm by himself as he prefers everything to be tidy. 

Mingyu is also known to be great with kids! Fans commented that he will be a great father after seeing how gentle and soft he is towards children.

He and Jeonghan appeared on a reality show where they met two kids and played with them. Fans were awed by how sweet Mingyu was towards the kids! 

If you would like a professional photographer, Mingyu has you covered. He loves taking photos and is surprisingly good at them considering he sometimes can be clumsy! He shot the photos for their Going Seventeen magazine.

He also previously filmed, edited, directed, and styled Seventeen’s special music video for Snap shoot. 

  • Jin from BTS 

Apart from being a responsible hyung for the group, Jin has a very outgoing and caring personality. He can be seen taking care of the younger members and making sure they are okay. Here’s a thread!

He is also the one who carries the humor of the group so he will be able to cheer you up on the darkest days! Here’s proof! 

Not forgetting he is Worldwide Handsome and owns the title!

  • Taeyong from NCT 127

From being the best cook, with five-star dishes which you can enjoy! Taeyong is voted one of the most Husband Material members by Czennie’s! 

From cooking to washing your hair! What can’t this man do?

He is also prone to cleaning, he stated one of his biggest dislikes is dust. He also revealed that he has a phobia of contamination and germs which is why washes his clothes separately. A plus that he cleans so adorably! 

One of his strengths is caring towards others and being filled with kindness. Taeyong always buys food for the other members and is good at ordering delicious food! Let’s consider his hobby as an avid foodie!

He is a dog lover! Taeyong revealed that he raised 10 dogs and has a Dalmation named Danbi!
