Their last release as a full group was in May of 2020 with their mini album The Book of Us : The Demon, after which the group went on hiatus as two members, Jae and Sungjin, took time off to focus on their mental health. The three other members, Wonpil, Dowoon and Young K, released an album titled The Book of Us : Gluon - Nothing Can Tear Us Apart under the sub-unit Even of Day.
In other DAY6 news, member Jae has been spending time playing the insanely popular game Among Us whilst also preparing for the album release. Many other K-pop stars such as GOT7’s BamBam and Mark, TWICE’s Nayeon and Momo, EXO’s Chanyeol and Apink’s Hayoung have also been known to play the game.
