WHAT IS GOING ON WITH BTS NEW COLLABORATION?

The long-awaited collaboration is finally here! Not too long ago a rumor circulated about a possible collab of BTS and Coldplay.

 

 

Just as much as fans would love to enjoy a track by two renowned groups, BTS is also part of the fan group when it comes to Coldplay.

 

The news broke the internet after alienradio confirmed the release of the single “My Universe” by Coldplay which will feature BTS. It is set to release on September 24th.

In an interview, Coldplay spoke about working with BTS. As we know, both BTS and Coldplay contributed a positive impact to this generation both in music and in charity.

 

 

Chris Martin on working with BTS: “We really don’t believe in any boundaries or separation of anything really, and so the song My Universe is about someone being told they can’t love a certain other person, or can’t be with this race, or they can’t be gay - whatever it might be."

Chris Martin explained that the upcoming song is about the restriction one had to endure in this era where people tell you what you can and can’t do.

 

We are definite that Taehyung of BTS is a big fan of Coldplay. Early this year, BTS performed Coldplay’s heartfelt song Fix You on MTV’s Unplugged by Taehyung's humble request.

Previously, in many interviews where the band is questioned about who they would want to collaborate with, it was without a doubt Taehyung would respond, Coldplay.

 

That’s not all! These talented artists unveiled the preview clip as they teased us with a TikTok video of them singing the soon-to-be-released track!
