BTS have done it once again! It was recently revealed that their fourth studio album, MAP OF THE SOUL : 7, has officially been awarded gold certification by the BPI (British Phonographic Industry). This means that MAP OF THE SOUL has sold at least 100,000 copies (way to go Army!). This is the boys’ third album to be awarded with a gold certification following their repackaged album LOVE YOURSELF 結 ‘ANSWER’, and 6th mini album MAP OF THE SOUL : PERSONA.
BTS were also recently awarded with their eighth silver-certified album. The albums currently ranked at silver status by the BPI (including the three previously mentioned) are their first and second special albums The most beautiful moment in life : YOUNG FOREVER and YOU NEVER WALK ALONE; third full-length album LOVE YOURSELF 轉 ‘TEAR’; fifth mini album LOVE YOURSELF 承 ‘HER’; and their third Japanese studio album FACE YOURSELF.
Their singles MIC Drop, Boy With Luv and Dynamite have also achieved silver-certification–which in this case means that they have sold at least 200,000 units.
