Korean Hot-Pot (Jeongol – 전골) is a dish made in a stew pot where you add broth, meat, seafood, mushroom, tofu, kimchi, green vegetables, and seasoning. Jeongol is similar to another Korean dish called Jjigae but with the difference that Jeongol has a variety of ingredients and the Jjigae is made with one main ingredient.

Cooking all the ingredients in the same pot with the broth delivers amazing and delicious flavours that will leave craving for more. Seoul has a variety of Hot-Pot restaurants to enjoy not only Jeongol but also plenty other Korean dishes.

This park is one of largest man-made in Asia, it as convenient facilities (Theme Plaza, Singing Fountain, Rose Garden, and more) and attractions including Riverside Square, artificial islands, playgrounds for childrens to enjoy, beautiful flowers, and a forest.

Cherry Blossom trees look amazingly beautiful in spring, making it a perfect spot to take pictures, seat on benches, enjoy your picnic and admire the view.

Yeouido Hangang Park – 여의도한강공원

A park with amazing natural landscape, it is also a water source of clean water and protected are in Seoul.

Here, besides enjoying a lovely afternoon picnic, you can also enjoy a biking area, the Gwangjin bridge observatory, soccer field, volleyball court, tennis court, and swimming pool among other facilities available.

Pyeonghwa nuri Park within Imjingak Resort is an important part of Korean history and a place to promote and find peace and reconciliation.

It has various memorial monuments and facilities like an observatory, Imjingak Park, souvenir shop, Hill of Music, and Hill of Wind.

Although there is a restaurant available at location, there is no better way to enjoy this park other than admiring your surrounding and enjoying your delicious Hot-Pot Picnic.

Garden Five – 가든파이브

Not your typical park for a picnic, Garden Five is a cultural complex, with restaurants, shopping centre, cafes, wedding hall and more, but it counts with Korea’s biggest rooftop garden with a spectacular panoramic view of the city, making it a unique and interesting place to have a picnic.

Seonyudo Park – 선유도공원

The first ecological water park in Korea, it is in the middle of Yanghwadaegyo Bridge. In this park you can find several facilities like a Botanical Gardren, a Water Playground, Aquatic Botanical Garden and more activities that will connect you with nature.

A beautiful view from Hangang River can be seen from Seonyugyo bridge connecting the area to Yanghwa.
