Spring Season is just around the corner, months of March to May are lovely, full of colors and a wonderful weather that says goodbye to winter. These months tend to be travel season among tourists.

Jinhae Gunhangje Festival

Cherry blossoms begin to bloom in late March so the ideal date to visit Korean would be in April. This Korean festival is one of the famous of the country. This is one of the reasons why Korea receives so many tourists from all over the world just to see these beautiful trees.

Since we are still on a pandemic, there still the possibility that there is no festival this year, but you can still visit Jinhae and enjoy the magnificence of this trees.

Damyang Bamboo Festival

An Ecological Site to celebrate the beauty of Damyang’s natural bamboo forest. The festival is full of outdoor activities.
Among activities you have in site: Bamboo Forest tour, Bamboo Raft, Water Biking, and an Observation Deck to name a few. If you are an adventurous person who enjoys nature, this is the place to go.

Jindo Miracle Sea Road Festival

A 3km long road appears between Jindo Island and Modo Island, the path is available for people to cross, and enjoy the beauty of nature and its mysteries.

Yeon Deung Hoe (Lotus Lantern Festival)

This festival features a lantern parade in Jongno District, a spectacular event with people dancing, playing the drums and let’s not forget the lovely colored lanterns. You are also allowed to make your own lantern.

It takes place at Jogyesa Temple the weekend before Buddha’s Birthday but this can changed since his birthday is based on the Lunar calendar. This sight is sometime out of this world, you will never forget it.

Everland Tulip Festival

Did you ever wanted to go a field full of harmonious, colorful, and beautiful tulips? Everland might be the answer for you. Around 100 varieties and more that 1 million tulips can be found in this field. Sculptures and Themed gardens can be found here, the perfect place for a beautiful Instagramable picture. Seokchon Lake Cherry Blossom Festival

This annual event takes at Seokchonhosu Lake are in Seoul, cherry blossoms around the month of April have popped and decorates every tree majestically creating a gorgeous scenery around this beautiful lake. A beautiful place to visit in Seoul around spring season.

Boseong Green Tea Festival

For green tea lovers or simple nature enthusiasts, here you can see and explore one of largest if not the largest green tea plantation in South Korea, a beautiful view with the tea’s bushes, on this festival same as with the lantern festival, you can learn about it, interact by making your own green tea with leaves picked up by you.

Jeju Island Fire Festival

One of Korea’s most famous festivals, it takes place in Bongseong-ri, Ayeol-eup on Jeju Island to pray for health and a great harvest for the upcoming year, with dances, activities, and games.
The festival is celebrated over three days, and it symbolizes a ritual of burning old grass to eliminate vermin beforehand the next harvest season.
