BTS speaks at the 76th UN General Assembly. A day to never forget. Which made all the ARMY proud worldwide!
The current president of South Korea, Moon Jae-in had BTS as special guests at the 76th United Nations General Assembly.
BTS members, Jeon Jung-kook, Kim Tae Hyung (V), Jimin, Min Yoon-gi (Suga), Kim Seok-jin (Jin), Kim Nam-joon (RM) and Jung Ho-seok (J-Hope) gave a speech for next generations.
Knowing the influence, they have around the world with ARMY and being ambassadors of their country, they are the right Special Envoys for future generations and culture.
BTS idols talked about the actual worldwide situation and about the future.
“Well like this pandemic, we’re faced with a variety of changes and difficulties that need surmount, so we understand SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) can be goals that we can work together globally, locally, in civil society; 17 goals we need to meet together.”
BTS UN Assembly speech included; As role models for the ARMY and why not for a lot of people in general, they tell us what they are doing to make a change in society.
“As special presidential envoys, one of the SDGs is about racism and hate speech, so we have already spoken through our social media to raise awareness of its importance as well.”
They let us know the importance of our actions to continue and have a brighter future in this new reality.
“If we believe in possibilities and hope, even when the unexpected happens, we will not lose our way but discover new ones”
“There will be choices we make that may not be perfect, but that does not mean there will be nothing we can do”
“What is important are the choices we make when we’re faced with change”
They ended their speech with “Permission to dance” as their message of welcome.
