Seventeen’s performance team member The8 released his single Hai Cheng on March 18th.
Along with the track, a music video was released and showcased deep and heartfelt emotions which were felt by fans.

He described that the title of the song is the name of his hometown. He also expressed his artistic side in the music video which describes the song to have poetic meanings and portrays a romantic atmosphere.

Hai Cheng is written based on The8’s emotions and how he felt, fans assumed the song was written for his mother and the music video is dedicated to her.
This MV could also represent his mom. (Since Hai Cheng is his hometown & where his mom gave birth to him.) His mom is his only lady & the dance part, he dances since his mom was a dancer. ㅠㅠㅠ
