JTBC's PEAK TIME:

JTBC announced launching a new idol survival program on June 20, “PEAK TIME”. This show cannot be compared to other audition shows because in this program, the previously debuted idol groups will be participating and competing against each other to show their talent.

This will give an opportunity to the non-famous groups, disbanded groups, inactive groups and more, even the show released a recruitment teaser with the title “Looking for active, disbanded, and debuted male idols”

The program is said to support “The idols who lost their stage due to COVID-19, idols who disbanded because of issues with their agencies, idols who need a support in promotions, the rookie idols who need a promotion booster and even the idols who want to showcase their skills to the world”.

This will give a great chance to every group to show their talents, skills and what makes each of them special Thus, this will be one of the best survival shows.

The show will be produced by the creators of the show “Sing Again” which is also a music competition show for singers who are desperate for one more chance, yet “Peak Time” is different where it will be the first idol audition show to have idol groups competing against each other.

It is said that the contestants will receive detailed coaching from world-class experts to compete for a spot at a worldwide idol showcase and the program is scheduled for airing in the first half of 2023.
